You’ll spend approximately 4,5-5 hours in a return drive. The distance is 135 miles from Kusadasi to Pamukkale.
*Can we swim in the ancient pool and travertines?
You can walk on the calcium travertines barefoot. You can swim in the ancient pool on the Roman ruins just like old Romans did. There are changing cabins and lockers nearby the pool. Swimming in the pool requires you to buy an extra ticket.
*Will I need cash for this tour?
Not really. But you might need some for tipping your tour guide and driver.

ITINERARY
Drive to Pamukkale from Kusadasi (2,5 hours)
Walk on the calcium travertines that are filled with spring waters. Option for you to go for a swim where the spring water comes on earth in the ancient pool in lukewarm waters. Walk through the ancient city of Hierapolis. If you like, you can hike up to the Roman theatre and martyr of St. Philip. Hiking through the city and reaching the Roman forum. See Domitian Gate, the latrines, and the fountains. (3 hours)
Drive back to Kusadasi. (2,5 hours)
